Jody C. Johnston received his training in Ericksonian Hypnosis and Brief Psychotherapy at the American Hypnosis Training Academy (AHTA) in Washington D.C. The AHTA is  highly recognized as a leading training institute in Ericksonian Hypnosis, and is recognized for excellence by the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists (NBCCH).  Jody's proficiency as a skilled hypnotherapist is the direct result of having completed his training in Advanced Ericksonian Hypnosis, and in being certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP.) Upon receiving his training from AHTA, Jody was accepted as a member of the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists (NBCCH,) by exceeding the amount of required training for membership. Jody C. Johnston received a bachelor's degree from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN in Humanities and Social Sciences, with a concentration in Psychology, Sociology, and a minor in Philosophy/ Religion. Upon receiving his bachelor's degree, Jody moved to Johnson City, TN to pursue a Master's degree in the art of Counseling at East Tennessee State University. Upon receiving his Master's degree, Jody then accepted a position as a Child and Family therapist with a local mental health agency where he continued to refine his skills as a therapist. Jody now serves his community in private practice offering services as a licensed psychotherapist, board certified clinical hypnotherapist, and a personal coach. Jody is  a professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), which is dedicated to upholding ethical standards for the profession of counseling and related arts.
